We come to the sea, and we sing the sea grass, the tall tape grass, that sea grass is Rrumburriya, and the spotted eagle ray and then we turn and head north-north-west and sing the cabbage palms, the little corella and whistling kite. We keep moving northwards: we sing the spring waters and the file snake and the brolgas, and keep travelling. We near Walala; it is a big body of fresh water. We come to Walala on the west side; yes, at last we are meeting that place we call Walala.12
